Put the new Doc Jazz song on number 1!

Doc Jazz’s new release “That Melody” has not yet been released on the major music platforms. This time, a different approach has been chosen: it is only available on Youtube, and on good old Soundclick.

So far, this has appeared to be a good choice. “That Melody” is climbing fast on the Soundlick charts! That fits in quite nicely with the great reviews the song has been getting!

Adult Contemporary

The song was submitted as ‘Adult Contemporary’. I know this is a strange name, but technically, that’s a proper categorization of the song. The word ‘adult’ may evoke some strange and shady connotations, but it’s actually the opposite of that. Songs that are easy to listen to, contain decent lyrics, and don’t sit squarely in other categories, generally are classed as ‘Adult Contemporary’.

On that subgenre list, the song is already on number 2!

General Pop Charts

The main charts that Adult Contemporary falls under, are a much larger category. The competition there, as you can guess, is fierce. However, That Melody has already made it to number 8!

How to help push it up the charts

There is actually nothing simpler than this. Soundclick songs get their chart positions from STREAMS.

So there are two things you can do to help:

  1. STREAM the song at https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=14128972
  2. SHARE this post, or the song link, and call on your friends to stream it!

That’s it! That’s all! So, it’s all up to you, dear Doc Jazz friends and fans!

And is there no reward? Sure there is … you get to download the song for FREE, from the same link! When the next phase is entered, the song will go to Spotify and the other carriers, and it won’t be free anymore.

Looking forward to seeing That Melody hit #1, it would be awesome, many thanks in advance!
