Another milestone: 15,000 Doc Jazz FB page members

On March 11th this year, the Doc Jazz Facebook page hit the 10,000 member count, and I reported on it with gratitude. The time has come again to thank the Palestine-loving people who have graced my page with their presence, now bringing the count up to 15,000 !

I takes quite some effort, time and resources to maintain the website, Facebook page and music directory, and to advertise and propagate it. That’s why seeing these efforts pay off means so much to me. Thank you all so much!

The current number of songs that are online is still 96; unfortunately 2011 has been too busy a year to write and record any new ones. That makes this the least productive year in songwriting since the beginning of the Musical Intifada – but at the same time the very best year in terms of exposure and number of supporters.

Free Songs

Hopefully, more songs will be produced soon. For now, you will have to make do with the songs that are already online. But there is also some good news for those who like my songs.

On Eid day, they were all made available for free download. When this resulted in a great number of enthusiastic downloads, the free period was extended over the month of September. Now, with this wonderful milestone number of 15,000 members, they will remain free until the end of October! Come to the music page, and help yourself!
