finally standing at the station
Bags r packed we're ready to roll
figured out our destination
Aint nothing left but to finally go

But the train
Aint nowhere near in sight

It took some time to get a confirmation
tried so hard to be in time
imagine our consternation
found ourselves waiting in line

For that train
That aint nowhere near in sight

Hey mr station man
with the uniform
can u tell us whats going on?

We were supposed to have left long ago
Is there still hope our train will come?


It wasnt easy to just pack and go cuz
when u leave u leave so much behind
But now we're feeling so gung-ho
There is no messing with our minds

Is there still hope our train will come?

Well how do u think i feel today
I cant believe that train is so astray
Cause I've checked my watch and i checked the date
I cant believe that train is late
please dont tell me its late


We tried to get an explanation
But the station man just shook his head
There's nothing at this dog-gone station
the train went somewhere else instead

looks like theres nothing we can do but
