The new Intifada song by Doc Jazz, ‘Stare It In The Face’, has gone down very well with audiences on Facebook. Gripped by its powerful lyrics, its compelling beat, its determined hooks and its attention-grabbing lyrics video, pro-Palestine audiences from all over the planet widely embraced the song and rewarded it with words of praise, and a considerable amount of shares.

At the time of writing this article, the views counter has already passed the 70,000 mark, and the number of shares has risen above 420. Although it seemed that Palestinian artist Doc Jazz had given up on composing music of struggle and resistance, ‘Stare It In The Face’ has proven to be a worthy come-back, attracting more support and praise than his other songs that were released in the past few years.

The song is written in the first person, expressing the undefeated spirit of a Palestinian facing hardship, adversity, and overwhelming circumstances, without flinching or slipping into defeatism and despair. As the song’s catchy chorus puts it: ‘When the heat is on … Just stare it in the face!’
The song was also released on Youtube, but the main focus of pushing the song on the internet has been Facebook. This has proved to be a successful formula, especially now that the Facebook algorithms strongly favor endemic Facebook videos over embedded Youtube links. The song has also been submitted to Spotify, and is expected to be available to the public there soon.

Here, once more, are the links where you can hear, watch, or download the song (for free, as usual).
