The Musical Intifadah is a project that brings together the music of artists who have composed songs dealing with the Palestinian struggle for sovereignty and independence. Next to the vast collection of songs by Doc Jazz on this subject, this website features songs by David Rovics, the Savage Rose, Jim Page, Frank Abbinanti and others. Most of the music here is in the English language (besides Dutch, Arabic and one in French), aiming to spread the message of the legitimacy of the Palestinian resistance to as wide an audience as possible.

Besides music about the oppression of the Palestinian people, this site also features songs on a few other subjects, such as the joint American/Israeli/European attempt to dominate the Middle East under the pretext of spreading democracy, and the increasingly hostile attitude of racism and discrimination against Arab and Muslim minorities living in the West.

In the 'New World Order' devised by the Americans, all types of action including military invasion are contemplated against Syria, Iran, Lebanon, potentially causing the same types of massive disaster that we have been able to witness in Iraq and Afghanistan. If you are not inclined to condemn these policies, which violate the sovereignty of independent nations, then this website is a must-hear/-see/-read for you, as it may be a way to open your eyes to the neo-colonialistic and imperialistic nature of these plans, designed mainly to serve American and Israeli strategic and economic goals, despite the enticing words and promises of freedom and democracy.

The Musical Intifadah opposes all types of racism, including anti-semitism, zionism, and other ideologies that uphold beliefs in either superiority or inferiority of other races. Music is an international language, with the possibility of bringing people together through a common interest! So check out songs like Intifadah, Home (for Jenin), Doctor Tell the World, My Lovely Palestine, Down Down Dubya (about George W. Bush) and many others ... or Dutch songs like "Balken van Ellende"(about Dutch prime minister Balkenende; this song was featured on Dutch national TV!), "Doe Maar Multicultureel" (in support of a multicultural society, and strongly supporting the right of Dutch muslimas to wear their head scarves) ... or some of the Arabic songs Doc Jazz has written and produced.
