By Hanane Harram, Rotterdam (Netherlands) – Doc Jazz is a music artist-activist with songs for all generations. He has created a very nice form of art based on the Palestinian cause. You can feel the strong emotions in his fantastic songs.

His music spans the entire musical horizon – it rocks, it grooves and it has a strong and powerful message. His voice is nice and smooth but at the same time it’s powerful.

Doc Jazz is master of his instruments. In ‘Intifada’ he introduces an authentic Palestinian instrument, the shibbabeh (Palestinian flute), which makes the song very impressive. ‘Positive Effect’ is one of the songs that keeps the album optimistic and  ‘the effect is quite direct’.

Most of his songs deal with the Palestinian cause but the album also contains love songs. ‘For Life’ is one of these songs. Doc Jazz is always with you in ‘good times and bad times’!

The most important and most sensitive issue for the Palestinians is their home, and their right to return.  Many Palestinians kept the front door keys of their original homes as an obligation to return. Doc Jazz knows how to put this message into a nice sound for your ears.

Front Door Key is a must-have album for all Palestine sympathizers. Everyone who cares about Palestine should definitely listen to Doc Jazz’s songs!
