The Healing Hands Gala is an annual gala organized by the Southern California chapter of PCRF (Palestine Children’s Relief Fund) and is one of this organization’s most popular fundraising events, playing an important role in funding the many medical missions and humanitarian projects that PCRF undertakes in the Middle East.

Previous Healing Hands Gala’s have hosted renowned guest speakers such as Ralph Nader and Diana Buttu. This year, the event will be held again at its usual location, which is the Hilton Hotel in Anaheim, CA. The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund is a registered non-political, non-profit, 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization that was established in 1991 by concerned people in the U.S. to address the medical and humanitarian crisis facing Palestinian youths in the Middle East.

Doc Jazz is honored by this invitation to perform at such a wonderful and important fundraising event. “As a surgeon, I am a dedicated supporter of what PCRF stands for, and amazed at the effectiveness of this wonderful organization. I urge everyone to read more about PCRF, and you will quickly understand why I am such a big fan. I am always ready to put my medical and surgical expertise at the service of PCRF at any time, but to be able to contribute to its goals in a musical way is also a unique and amazing opportunity that I am very thrilled and excited about.”

PCRF has won many awards and has treated over 800 children since 1991. The major impact it has had on improving the lives of so many is simply astonishing. For these amazing feats it has gained the endorsements of celebrities from a variety of backgrounds, including former US President Jimmy Carter, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and actor Richard Gere.
