On October 4th 2009, Doc Jazz gave a concert in the main auditorium at Al Quds University. “It was truly an unforgettable experience; the response from the audience was absolutely amazing. This concert was organized thanks to the interest of fans that live in the Jerusalem region, and who wished to hear me playing my songs live.” (quote from the PTT interview)

During the concert, an on-stage interview was held with Doc Jazz, about his music, his life, and his motivations. The video in this post, which was published on Youtube, contains excerpts of the concert mixed with this on-stage interview, and gives a good overall impression of the atmosphere of the concert.

It also forms a good introduction to those who are not yet familiar with Doc Jazz and his music, and allows them to get to know the person behind this large repertoire of pro-Palestinian songs. Parts of the live performance of four of these songs are featured in this clip: Positive Effect, The Wall Must Fall, the Arabic song ‘Undhor!’ (Watch!) and Doc Jazz’s audience favorite “Intifada!”.
